PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot a wide variety of systems including water pumps, filters, chillers, heat exchangers, boilers, UV units, electrical systems, and power generators; an understanding of computer applications for fish hatchery alarming and control systems monitoring with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks; ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams; comply with environmental regulations; prepare maintenance reports; provide budgeting information; good oral and written communication skills.
